Dublin Airport Record 238% Increase in Air Traffic Movements

Dublin Airport has recorded a 238% increase in air traffic movements for January 22-29, 2022. 

The 318 movements for that week is +238.30% better than the same period in 2021, which was recorded at 94. 

For the week previous, figures were up by +225.77% to 316 movements, which compared to 97 in the same period last year. 

For Jan 8-15, it is more or less the same by a few movements, so it has been a constant average of over 300 movements per week so far for the airport. 

A Good 2021

Dublin Airport had a very good 2021, with passenger numbers increasing 14% to 8.46 million.

This is still down 74% compared to pre-pandemic levels but is of course a step in the right direction. 

With countries now looking to relax restrictions, we could see these numbers skyrocket, especially as we approach Summer 2022.
